Score a consult with Unbounce’s Conversion Optimizer and more
Clutter could be killing your conversion rate
Like a messy garage, some landing pages
overwhelm visitors with clutter.
Ideally, your landing pages should include
enough information so visitors convert but
not so much info that visitors get overwhelmed
and bounce.
It’s a fine balance – one made easier with
lightboxes, a new feature in Unbounce.
Lightboxes are modal windows that help you add needed details to your landing pages, without
distracting from your CTA. They help you keep information clear, and persuasive.
You can use lightboxes to feature nice-to-know information like:
Include details about your keynote speakers in lightboxes (so that visitors don’t navigate away from a potential ticket purchase).
Keep “nice to know” deets (extra product features, limitations, rules or social proof) in lightboxes.
Contact forms don’t need to appear directly on your landing page. Try a lightbox form to allow visitors to trigger a conversion opportunity when they’re ready.
Have (digital) lunch with our in-house Conversion Optimizer, the legendary Michael Aagaard. Unbounce will supply lunch for your marketing team and you can ask Michael your most burning conversion questions, or have him critique your current landing page.
Get a custom Unbounce landing page template built for your business. Our designers will consult with the lucky winner to create a sleek Unbounce template tailored to their needs. This page will eventually become available to all Unbounce customers in the template library.

Get decked out with a sweet, sweet Unbounce swag pack.
In the Spring Cleaning Landing Page Contest, we want to see how you can use lightboxes to improve your pages – whether it be by improving clarity, or by better organizing need-to-know vs. nice-to-know information.
Based on an existing Unbounce landing page (your “before page”), create a variant to alter (your “after” page).
Note: Your before and after don’t have to be massively different – just show us you used a lightbox, or multiple lightboxes to communicate your page’s offer more effectively.

Use lightboxes to tidy up your page strategically. They can be used to break up overwhelming walls of text, feature fine details, bios, extras, or visually break up need-to-know vs. nice-to-know information.
